How can I cover an entire wall with the illusion of texture without much work? How to apply mirrors?

Once I saw one large piece of paneling or material tacked to a wall, which made the wall look brick(but there are other psuedo textures). It was not paint, wallpaper, or anything like that. It was something you could easily apply and just tack on all four corners. Where would I find something like this, and what is the name? I'm looking for something to cover an entire wall and add personality without a lot of work. Also, how can I cover an entire wall with a glass mirror without having to do a lot of drilling or adding multiple holes to the wall? How can I cover an entire wall with the illusion of texture without much work? Paneling is the easiest to do and there are many styles to choose from. There is even a ';textured'; panel that resembles regular walls and can be painted. Mirrors can be glued with a construction adhesive but if you live in a area prone to earthquakes, I don't recommend it. If you want to achieve the best look for your walls then you will have to put in some effort. How can I cover an entire wall with the illusion of texture without much work? How to apply mirrors?
Go to the wall paper dept. of your favorite store. They sell paintable wall paper, with many different textures such as stucco, swirls, plaster look etc. As for mirrors try two sided tape put a strip or sqare on each corner and also in the middle back of the mirror. It's not as much work to clean the wall if you decided to take down the mirror some day!
normally texture panelles like briks are sold in home depo. ask them theyll help you out
make a frame for the mirror and fasten IT to the wall. but a whole wall mirror/ they break, you know.
just ask the question at your nearer interior designing shops
