Best way to give texture to previously wallpapered walls?

I have torn down ugly wallpaper from my kitchen, and I want to paint the drywall to match the family room. There's not much wall space; behind the fridge, above large windows, around the door, above the cabinetry. What's the easiest/least messy way to give some orange peel like texture to these areas before we paint? Also, will the drywall be subject to absorbing too much water in this process? I don't want to re-paper.Best way to give texture to previously wallpapered walls?
You can buy orange peel at your home center in an aerosol can. It's super easy to use. Spray it on. Let it dry. Paint. Bam your done.Best way to give texture to previously wallpapered walls?
No matter what you decide to do prime the drywall with 2 coats of water-based kilz-it first. They sell it in aerosol cans at home depot.
