If it is different, how is USA bread made?What's the difference between the texture and taste of bread in the UK and USA?
UK breads, in my experience, are much denser, chewier and more flavorful than US breads. I am not sure of the differences in HOW this is done but it is done because people in the US like softer, fluffier bread as a rule. I make my own because I prefer mine more in the UK style.
